The Farm
Our 78-acre family-owned farm practices sustainable, holistic, and diverse farming. We purchased the undeveloped land in 2015 and are gradually adding animals and plants each year. Farm Arcadia is home to dairy sheep, dairy goats, beef and dairy cattle, horses, chickens and other poultry, honeybees, dogs, cats, and other domestic animals. Wild visitors to the farm include whitetail deer, elk, moose, black bear, coyotes, wolves, foxes, mountain lions, all sorts of birds, and other native animals.
We are also starting a diverse orchard and gardens that includes well-known as well as nearly forgotten varieties of apples, pears, cherries, apricots, plums, other tree fruit, nuts, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, currants, gooseberries, strawberries, herbs, vegetables, and much more. We also grow lavender, flowers, mushrooms ... and anything else we find interesting and that might fit in.
