OBERHASLI DAIRY GOATS FOR SALE
I selectively breed Oberhasli goats for health, cheesemaking, and production. I keep a very small herd of does and have doelings or mature does for sale most years. I allow my does to raise their kids, but will bottle feed when they are rejected or have health problems that interfere with dam-kid bonding (rarely happens). I sell bottle babies most years - this makes for very tame adults.
Bottle Baby Waitlist
I accept requests for kids each spring so that when they are born I am able to notify potential buyers immediately that their kids are available (usually when 2 days old). I respect first reserved, first offered assuming that the kid is able to be picked up relatively quickly (within about 5 days). I will allow kids to nurse from their dams for the first day to be sure they get adequate colostrum. (This posting last updated February 6, 2026).

Bottle Baby Kids

These kids will need to be fed after being purchased. Kid formula is usually available at farm stores such as North 40. The kid price is based on the age of the kid when you pick them up. Bottle feeding results in very gentle and friendly goats. All kids are fed mother's colostrum during the first 24 hours of life. I anticipate 2026 kidding to start the end of March. The bulk of kidding usually occurs for two weeks. I only keep intact bucklings if reserved ahead of time with a non-refundable $100 deposit. For bottle kids, I do not offer discounts for purchases of multiple kids.

Registered Oberhasli Doeling: $300 if up to 7 days old, then +$25 for each additional week of age. Not disbudded.
